@palmerj3 I’m currently finding our stand ups a little bit like a ritual which we follow daily because that’s what agile teams do. I feel we get very little value from them. If anything they’re more of a distraction for me as intend to be very focused first thing in the morning.

@palmerj3 That said I’m not sure I’ve ever really got that much value from a ‘daily’ stand up. Occasionally they’re useful and good stuff comes out but should we really do them everyday on the off chance that something good would come out of it.

@palmerj3 I guess an agile person will tell me that means we’re not doing them correctly, but I’ve been doing stand ups in various forms for years and I always feel the same way.
