@iamtyce A story: when I first joined Spotify as a UI focused engineer I felt a huge amount of pressure that to succeed I had to be more "T-Shaped" and learn new languages and things I didn't have an interest in.

@iamtyce I've since learnt that you can both succeed in achieving what you want and be more "T-Shaped" without learning new languages. Also helps when you've got great managers like @specialized @lingmops @MattiasAltin and the others who are not on Twitter! (I've had a lot, is it me? 🤪)Permalink
