      1. A question asked a few times during the @spotifydesign talk at @intodsconf last week was: "Why don't you use Token Studio?" The answer is simple: our tokens solution and Figgy bot pre-date Token Studio. 🤖

      Our goal was to achieve full automation of synchronizing code with Figma without any manual steps. At the time, no tools were available that offered this, so we built our own. The first version of Figgy was wild and relied on a bunch of reverse engineering. (Sorry, Figma) 🤪

    Since we already have a working solution with no constraints, there is not much value for us to migrate to Token Studio. We also avoid the challenge of scale and needing to onboard hundreds of designers and engineers to third-party plugins like Token Studio.

      Ideally, we'd prefer not to maintain custom solutions like Figgy bot or use third-party plugins and instead rely on native solutions in Figma.
